Being Persistent in your Job Search

Frequently, I am asked to speak at our local Job Fair that attracts about 10,000 job seekers.

Sometimes I show them how to improve their Resume.
Sometimes I show people how to find a job usings Social Media.
Everytime, I end by telling to Job Seekers to be persistent.

Look for a job everyday.
Apply for at least 10 jobs every single day.

Make a Plan.
target companies you admire and want to work for.
Keep track of the companies you applied to - and follow-up.

Use Social Media to find someone that works inside that comapny - and contact them.

Print business cards with your name, phone number, and your skills.
Pass the cards out to EVERYONE you meet.

Don't give up.
A better job could be around the corner.
